INTERVENTION RESOURCES

Hello families!  My name is Kristin Todd, and I am so excited to be joining the North Hero family as a K-6 Academic Interventionist!

I was born and raised in San Diego, CA. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from the University of California Santa Barbara, then completed my Elementary Teaching program from San Diego State University. After that I moved to Las Vegas, NV, where I was a Kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd grade classroom teacher for 13 years. After I had my daughter, Scarlett (also attending North Hero!), I moved to Vermont where I taught preschool, then became an Academic Interventionist.

I've taught many grades and many ages in many districts and many states, so I hope I've acquired a little bit of something for everyone in my time in education! I very much look forward to meeting you and working with your child! Please let me know if you have any questions or would like any recommendations for academic help, interventions, or resources! I am always happy to chat or help!

Thank you so much, and I can't wait to meet you!

Sincerely,

Kristin Todd

K-6 Academic Interventionist

Hello students and families!

My name is Ms. Chelsea. I am very excited to be joining North Hero for my second year as Preschool Teacher and Academic Interventionist! I am looking forward to getting to know each and every one of you, but in the meantime here are some things about myself.

Growing up in Southern Vermont, I spent most of my childhood exploring the outdoors. This is something that I love to bring into my teaching. I graduated from St. Michael’s College in 2018 with a B.A. in Elementary Education and Psychology. I then started teaching at a therapeutic preschool in Burlington, where I then went on to receive my Early Education Endorsement from St. Michael’s College in 2020. I joined North Hero last year as the Preschool Teacher and K-6 Academic Interventionist.

In my free time, I love to cook, listen to live music and travel. I cannot wait to have the opportunity to build connections with you. I hope everyone is having a wonderful summer and I look forward to this school year with all of you!

Sincerely,

Ms. Chelsea
