SECOND STEP: EMOTIONAL WELLNESS AT NORTH HERO SCHOOL

Jill Everett, jeverett@gisu.org

Beginning the week of April 25th, Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) classes will focus on Healthy Relationships and Sexual Abuse Prevention.

These lessons are taught across all grades and are developmentally appropriate, using a curriculum from Prevent Child Abuse Vermont. The curriculum is divided into two sections based on grade levels:

K-2: Care for Kids
3-6: We Care

Please visit the
Prevent Child Abuse Vermont website for more information about this program.

Vermont School Counselors are required by Vermont Law to provide an ACT 1 curriculum to students. If you are interested in learning more about ACT 1, please click this link. I am happy to connect with you if you have any questions or concerns.
